How the Speedify Team Stepped Forward
It’s been only 24 hours since we announced our plan to support for the Iranian people - by supplying 20GB of free monthly Speedify data to affected users and we’ve already received an avalanche of messages and mentions across social media. Due to overwhelming adoption we are continuing to scale up our infrastructure in the region to support his influx of new users.
Speedify is the only VPN that can combine multiple internet sources into one bonded super-connection for more stable and secure Internet connectivity, including video calling, live streaming and web browsing. With Speedify, Iranians are able to use the combined bandwidth of their cellular and broadband connections at the same time, fixing their Internet connectivity and security issues.
But how did we manage to pull this off so quickly?
Setting the Course for Scaling Up
As with every software company, being able to quickly scale your efforts for a specific goal is paramount to success. The scaling means much more than some engineering hours - it’s also about human resources, costs, short and long term impact.
At Connectify Inc, our motto is “Better Internet, for Everyone” and it’s not the first time we’ve pivoted to help those in need. Several years ago we started supporting Cubans with free Connectify Hotspot, then by easing restrictions globally during the peak of COVID-19, and more recently by helping citizens of Myanmar. That’s why we are able to quickly scale up our infrastructure in the region to meet demand.
Improving Internet Connectivity for Iranians
As previously mentioned, all new and existing users in Iran will receive 20GB of free monthly data for improved connectivity and security. We are also rapidly expanding our server capacity in the region - including Tel Aviv (Israel) and Dubai (UAE).
