How to Live Stream Passover Seder to Avoid Internet Issues

Synagogues have joined the social distancing practices this season.  So, you’ve decided to carry on the Seder traditional and keep the family involved and participating.  We are all craving spiritual guidance, reflection and tradition even more these days. Your family and friends have the ability to connect to Zoom and other conferencing apps.  The menu is set for a wonderful time together even across the miles. A good Internet connection is a must for any event that is broadcast online, including the ones going on in synagogues and our homes connecting us over this Passover.  The Internet will link us together because for many the feeling of the spiritual uplift from the prayers and reflections is so important this year.  So – how can you easily live stream your Seder Haggadah without running into stuttering, buffering or even disconnects? You might have the best of the best when it comes to audio / video equipment for streaming. And the software to go with that – multiple cameras, effects, etc. Congratulations – you’ll be able to create great videos to be distributed on DVDs, Blu-ray discs or other offline media. The thing you need most is a reliable and fast Internet connection. Whether you’re using a tripod with an GoPro or a smartphone mounted on it to overlook the altar, or a professional video system with several cameras – the quality of the live stream all boils down to the quality of your Internet connectivity.
