Speedify Combines Two Starlink Dishes for Faster Upload and Download Speeds and Automatic Internet Failover
Yes, you can use two Starlink dishes at the same time. Each dish is a separate internet connection, and on its own your device uses only one Starlink at a time.
Speedify is an app that combines two or more internet connections at once – like both Starlink dishes – so you get their combined upload and download speed and automatic backup that keeps you online if either dish drops. Here is what combining two dishes involves and how to set it up.
Multiple Starlink dishes, one faster and more reliable connection.
Speedify bonds all your Starlink dishes simultaneously — so you get the combined bandwidth of all your Starlink dishes, and stay online when any one drops.

What Combining Two Starlink Dishes Actually Means
Two Starlink dishes at the same location give you two separate internet connections, each with its own router and IP address. Without additional software, your device connects to one dish at a time. You get no combined speed and no automatic failover when that dish drops.
Combining two Starlink dishes means running software that actively manages both connections at once. Speedify does this at the packet level, splitting your internet traffic across both dishes and reassembling it at Speedify’s servers. The result is a single logical internet connection that draws from both dishes simultaneously.
When one dish drops, Speedify detects the failure in milliseconds and reroutes all traffic to the working dish. You do not experience a reconnect. Your calls, uploads, and downloads continue without interruption.
Note: Two dishes on the same Starlink account share satellite infrastructure. For maximum redundancy, two dishes on separate Starlink accounts are recommended, as they draw from different satellite pools and are less likely to experience congestion simultaneously.
How Speedify Combines Two Starlink Dishes
Speedify runs on your device and monitors both Starlink connections in real time, measuring latency, packet loss, and available bandwidth on each continuously. When both dishes are performing well, Speedify uses both and delivers up to 95% of their combined internet upload and download capacity. When one dish degrades, Speedify moves all traffic to the healthy dish at the packet level.
Speedify also encrypts all your internet traffic across both connections, so your data is protected on every path.
How to Combine Two Starlink Dishes with Speedify
Step 1: Install and Activate Both Starlink Dishes
Make sure both dishes are physically installed, pointed correctly, and activated through the Starlink app. Each dish should have its own router and be broadcasting its own network.
Step 2: Connect Your Device to Both Starlink Networks
Connect to the first Starlink router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Connect to the second Starlink router using another available network adapter, like Wi-Fi / Ethernet. You can also use a second Ethernet port or a USB Wi-Fi adapter. Confirm both internet connections show as active network interfaces on your device.
Step 3: Download and Run Speedify
Download Speedify and install it on your device. Speedify detects both Starlink connections automatically and begins bonding them. No manual routing setup is required.
Speedify manages both dishes in the background from there: combining them for faster upload and download speeds, monitoring both paths, failing over instantly when needed, and encrypting all traffic.
Who Should Combine Two Starlink Dishes with Speedify
- Households and remote workers in areas where one Starlink dish is not consistently reliable and a second dish adds a live backup
- Small businesses in satellite-dependent locations that need more combined upload and download throughput than one dish delivers
- Live streamers and content creators who need the combined upload bandwidth of two Starlink connections during broadcasts
- Field operations teams where an internet outage causes real work disruption and a second dish provides peace of mind
- IT teams managing Starlink deployments who want software-based bonding across two dishes without additional hardware complexity

Speedify Also Monitors Both Starlink Dishes
Speedify displays real-time Starlink dish alerts for each connected dish in the app dashboard. If either dish detects a stuck actuator motor, a non-vertical mast, or a thermal throttle condition, Speedify surfaces the alert in the dashboard. Alerts appear when the condition has been present for at least 15 seconds and clear once resolved.
Speedify gives you a single place to bond your Starlink connections and monitor the hardware health of both dishes.
