Speedify Combines Two Starlink Dishes on Windows for More Reliable Internet and Faster Upload and Download Speeds
If you have access to two Starlink dishes and a Windows PC, Speedify can bond both connections simultaneously using Speedify’s channel bonding technology. Both Starlink connections carry your internet traffic at the same time, giving you faster upload and download speeds from the combined capacity of both dishes. If one dish drops, Speedify automatically moves all traffic to the other, keeping you online without interruption.
This guide explains when using two Starlink dishes makes sense, how Speedify manages both connections on Windows, and how to get set up in three steps.
When Does Using Two Starlink Dishes Make Sense
A single Starlink dish delivers between 25 and 220 Mbps depending on your plan and location. For most individual users, that is sufficient. But there are scenarios where a second Starlink dish is worth the investment.
Two dishes on separate Starlink accounts are served by different satellites and coverage pools. During periods of heavy satellite congestion, a second Starlink account on a separate dish is less likely to be throttled at the same time as the first. For locations that require very high combined upload and download throughput, two dishes bonded through Speedify deliver close to double the available capacity.
This setup is also relevant for businesses or facilities that need redundancy: if one dish loses signal due to a physical obstruction, debris, or localized weather event, the second dish on a different physical mount continues providing connectivity.
Note: Speedify works best when combining connections from different sources or ISPs. Two Starlink dishes on the same account share the same satellite infrastructure and will not provide full redundancy in a satellite-level outage. Two separate Starlink accounts give you a stronger failover setup.
How Speedify Manages Two Starlink Connections on Windows
With two active Starlink connections on your Windows PC, Speedify detects both and begins monitoring them simultaneously. Speedify tracks latency, packet loss, and available bandwidth on each connection continuously.
When both dishes are performing well, Speedify distributes traffic across both and delivers up to 95% of their combined upload and download capacity. When one Starlink connection degrades or goes offline, Speedify moves all traffic to the working connection at the packet level. No active sessions are dropped.
Speedify also encrypts all your internet traffic across both Starlink connections, protecting your data on every path.

How to Combine Two Starlink Dishes on Windows with Speedify
Step 1: Connect to the First Starlink Network
Connect your Windows PC to the first Starlink router via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Confirm the connection is active in your system tray.
Step 2: Connect to the Second Starlink Network
Connect your Windows PC to the second Starlink router using a second Ethernet port or a USB Wi-Fi adapter if your built-in Wi-Fi is already used for the first connection. Confirm the second connection is also active and appearing in your network settings.
Step 3: Download and Run Speedify
Download Speedify and install it on your Windows PC. Speedify will detect both Starlink connections automatically and begin bonding them. No manual routing configuration is required.
From that point, Speedify manages both connections in the background: combining them for faster upload and download speeds, monitoring for drops, failing over instantly if either dish goes down, and encrypting all traffic.

Speedify Also Monitors Both Starlink Dishes on Windows
Speedify displays real-time Starlink dish alerts in the app dashboard on your Windows PC for each connected Starlink dish. If either dish detects a stuck actuator motor, a non-vertical mast, or a thermal throttle condition, Speedify surfaces the alert immediately. Alerts appear when the condition has been active for at least 15 seconds and clear once resolved.
With two Starlink dishes active, Speedify gives you real-time hardware visibility across both at the same time.
