There are a variety of different reasons you may be experiencing a slow PureVPN connection.
Some of the most common ones are:
- ISP issues
- Firewall is active
- Server is too far
- P2P file sharing use

Get Rid of VPN Connection Issues

If you believe your ISP is throttling your connection or not delivering as promised, you will need to contact them.
If your system has a firewall, it may be interfering with PureVPN and causing your slow connection. Disable any firewall on your network or system and see if that improves your connection speed.
If you are encountering a slow PureVPN connection while trying to use P2P file sharing services, you are most likely connected to a server where those services are blocked. You will need to connect to a specific server where P2P file sharing is allowed. Currently you should use a server in Turkey, Sweden, Romania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, or Russia.
