Speedify Helps Live Stream Youth Sports with SportsEngine Play
Speedify keeps your SportsEngine stream steady by carrying it over your Wi-Fi and 4G/5G cellular at the same time, so a dip in one connection doesn't drop the broadcast. Need more upload room at a packed hall?
Speedify's Pair & Share feature pairs your phone with the phones around you and pools everyone's cellular both ways, so each device gets a faster, steadier connection. No cables, no new data plans, no setup beyond a tap in the Speedify app.
Speedify makes your uploads and downloads faster, more reliable, and more secure.
Speedify combines Wi-Fi, 4G / 5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink, and other satellites for faster internet uploads and downloads
Speedify is the only software app that combines Wi-Fi, 4G / 5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink and other satellites at once for secure, faster, and more reliable internet uploads and downloads so you stay online without interruptions.
Speedify will automatically detect and start using any available Internet connections on your device while intelligently distributing your online traffic between them for optimal performance. If you need help we have quick start guides available for most common set ups.
Speedify gets you faster uploads and downloads from the devices around you
Speedify's Pair & Share feature lets you and the devices around you pair up and share 4G/5G cellular both ways, so every paired device gets faster uploads, faster downloads, and a steadier internet connection. All sides share and use each other's cellular at once, unlike a personal hotspot, where one device gives and the rest take.
Speedify's Pair & Share feature runs over the local network between devices already running Speedify, with no extra hardware and no new data plans. Speedify creates an encrypted pool of shared 4G/5G cellular connections across all paired devices. Each device taps into that shared pool of combined connections for faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable internet connection.

Why SportsEngine Streaming Issues Are Happening
Livestreaming sports with SportsEngine is designed to be simple and seamless—but occasionally, you might run into a few issues. You might experience poor video quality, choppy video, stream not starting or dropping. This happens due to either the venue Wi-Fi or the cellular network being sub par for the amount of traffic going through.
In order to successfully livestream sports on SportsEngine, you need to have an up-to-date version of the app (otherwise it may crash) and, most important, an Internet connectivity that you can rely on. Here are a few reasons why you usually don’t get that by only using one connection:
- 4G / 5G cellular network congestion - there are a lot of other people probably doing the same thing - livestreaming their kids' performance, sending video files to family or communicating with others by video calls. This way, the available bandwidth will be even smaller for each device.
- Crowded Wi-Fi hotspot - same as above - if there is a public Wi-Fi hotspot available in the area, it will most likely be crowded by all the people trying to livestream youth sports on SportsEngine or other platforms.
To avoid these issues, you can use Speedify to combine multiple Internet connections at the same time. If one of them is very slow or drops, Speedify enables the others to compensate it and provide fast, reliable and secure connectivity. You won't even be aware of it doing that and your livestream on SportsEngine will have no issues.
Speedify: a Must Have Tool to Fix Streaming on SportsEngine: Get Faster, More Reliable and Secure Internet
Use Speedify’s cellular sharing functionality that allows you to combine multiple personal hotspots together to increase internet upload and download speeds for everyone.
Speedify's Pair & Share feature is a new kind of personal hotspot. Instead of just one device sharing its internet, all paired devices can both share and receive connections at the same time.
Here’s what you need to do in order to use Speedify’s cellular sharing functionality when livestreaming your kids' games on SportsEngine without issues:
- Get the Speedify app on all your devices and connect to the same Wi-Fi network. This can be created by one of your devices or you can use a public Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure you have Pair & Share enabled on all devices. Start by pairing a device to share and receive.
- You are now taking advantage of both your and others’ Internet connectivity for faster, more reliable and secure Internet while live streaming your kids' basketball games.
Traffic between devices is fully encrypted, and you always maintain full control over which devices can do what - set permissions, limits, or unpair from other devices at any time.
