Use Speedify to Live Stream Youth Sports with GameChanger
Speedify keeps your GameChanger stream steady by carrying it over your Wi-Fi and 4G/5G cellular at the same time, so a dip in one connection doesn't drop the broadcast. Need more upload room at a packed field?
Speedify's Pair & Share feature pairs your phone with the phones around you and pools everyone's cellular both ways, so each device gets a faster, steadier connection. No cables, no new data plans, no setup beyond a tap in the Speedify app.
Quick answer
Should you have a backup 4G, 5G, Starlink, or cable internet connection?
Yes — every internet connection goes down, including Starlink, which drops for ~34 minutes a day on average. A backup connection from a different provider means one outage never takes you fully offline. The most common options are a 4G/5G cellular hotspot, a cable or DSL line, or a second satellite dish.
4G/5G cellular
Works anywhere. Just a SIM or hotspot — no installation needed.

Best for fixed locations. Different network, so outages rarely overlap.

Adds redundancy and throughput for remote sites or heavy usage.

Speedify combines Wi-Fi, 4G / 5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink, and other satellites for faster internet uploads and downloads
Speedify is the only software app that combines Wi-Fi, 4G / 5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink and other satellites at once for secure, faster, and more reliable internet uploads and downloads so you stay online without interruptions.
Speedify will automatically detect and start using any available Internet connections on your device while intelligently distributing your online traffic between them for optimal performance. If you need help we have quick start guides available for most common set ups.
Speedify gets you faster uploads and downloads from the devices around you
Speedify's Pair & Share feature lets you and the devices around you pair up and share 4G/5G cellular both ways, so every paired device gets faster uploads, faster downloads, and a steadier internet connection. All sides share and use each other's cellular at once, unlike a personal hotspot, where one device gives and the rest take.
Speedify's Pair & Share feature runs over the local network between devices already running Speedify, with no extra hardware and no new data plans. Speedify creates an encrypted pool of shared 4G/5G cellular connections across all paired devices. Each device taps into that shared pool of combined connections for faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable internet connection.

Why You Get GameChanger Live Streaming Issues
Livestreaming youth sports with GameChanger is designed to be simple and seamless, but occasionally there might be some issues. You might experience poor video quality, choppy video, stream not starting or dropping. This happens due to either the venue Wi-Fi or the cellular network being sub par for the amount of traffic going through.
GameChanger streams fail in a few specific ways, and most trace back to the internet connection. The stream drops mid-game or freezes on a black screen when the upload falls below what your resolution needs. Video goes choppy or will not start when a single cellular connection is congested.
The usual causes at a youth field are the same every time: too many parents on the same cell sector, weak signal behind dugouts and in far outfield corners, and a single connection with no backup when it dips. Speedify combines your Wi-Fi and 4G/5G cellular at once, so a dip in one does not take the stream down.
A few GameChanger problems are not internet connection problems, and it helps to rule them out. GameChanger pauses the stream for everyone if the app sits in the background for about 30 seconds, so keep it open and the screen on. Missing audio is a mute setting, not bandwidth. As a safety net, GameChanger's Live Stream and Record to Device option keeps a local recording even if the live feed drops.

Use Speedify’s cellular sharing functionality that allows you to combine multiple personal hotspots together to increase internet upload and download speeds for everyone.
Speedify's Pair & Share feature is a new kind of personal hotspot. Instead of just one device sharing its internet, all paired devices can both share and receive connections at the same time.
Here’s what you need to do in order to use Speedify’s cellular sharing functionality when livestreaming your kids' games on GameChanger without issues:
- Get the Speedify app on all your devices and connect to the same Wi-Fi network. This can be created by one of your devices or you can use a public Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure you have Pair & Share enabled on all devices. Start by pairing a device to share and receive.
- You are now taking advantage of both your and others’ Internet connectivity for faster, more reliable and secure Internet while live streaming your kids' basketball games.
Traffic between devices is fully encrypted, and you always maintain full control over which devices can do what - set permissions, limits, or unpair from other devices at any time.
