Speedify × Managed Service Providers
Deliver always-on connectivity to every client site.
The Problem
Every client outage is a support ticket, an SLA conversation, and a relationship risk.
MSPs managing business networks carry the full weight of client internet outages. Single-WAN configurations - even with strong ISP SLAs - still go down for maintenance windows, cable faults, hardware failures, and congestion events. When they do, the client calls the MSP.
Hardware-based failover solutions from vendors like Peplink, Cradlepoint, and Cisco Meraki provide dual-WAN with automatic switching, but they still introduce session interruptions during failover. They also require equipment procurement, physical deployment, per-device licensing, and hardware refresh cycles - overhead that multiplies quickly across large MSP client portfolios.
Speedify provides software-layer bonding that runs on existing hardware - compatible routers already in place at client sites - and bonds multiple connections simultaneously so sessions never interrupt during a failover event. One software deployment covers a site. Speedify Teams covers the whole client portfolio.
The Solution
A managed bonding layer the MSP deploys and controls.
Speedify for Routers installs on compatible OpenWrt routers already in the field, adding channel bonding without hardware replacement.
- Speedify bonds primary wired Ethernet broadband with 4G/5G cellular simultaneously: cellular stays active alongside the primary line and absorbs traffic instantly when the primary drops.
- Active client sessions - VoIP, video conferencing, cloud applications, POS - continue without interruption when any single connection fails.
- Speedify Teams provides a centralised management dashboard for all client devices: connection priorities, data limits, and connectivity monitoring across the entire MSP portfolio.
- The Speedify Teams RESTful API supports integration with existing RMM and PSA platforms.
Scenarios
Built for every kind of MSP client portfolio.
01 / Branch office and SMB connectivity
Every office stays online even when the ISP line drops.
02 / Retail and point-of-sale
POS systems that keep processing when the primary line goes down.
03 / Remote and construction sites
Site connectivity that works without fixed-line infrastructure.
04 / Healthcare and compliance-sensitive clients
Always-on connectivity with data routing through controlled infrastructure.
Healthcare businesses under HIPAA, legal firms handling privileged communications, and financial companies under PCI DSS need reliable connectivity with defined data routing. Speedify Self-Hosted Servers allow MSPs to route all client Speedify traffic through MSP-controlled or client-controlled infrastructure, meeting compliance requirements without adding network complexity.
Stack
Speedify operates as a transparent layer under all client applications.
Speedify Teams and the RESTful API allow MSPs to manage the Speedify layer across all client deployments from within existing RMM workflows.
Self-Hosted Server option for compliance-sensitive clients: all Speedify traffic routes through MSP or client-controlled infrastructure.
The Solution
Two deployment paths for MSP client sites.
Network level: on-site router
Install Speedify on a compatible OpenWrt router at the client site. Every device on the client network benefits from bonded internet connectivity. Speedify for Routers licenses are available per device through Speedify Teams.
- Supported OpenWrt routers: With a Speedify for Routers license.
- Powered by Speedify routers: Speedify is preinstalled and ready to configure.
Speedify Teams: centralized MSP management
Visibility
Speedify gives MSPs real-time visibility into every link at every client site.
The Speedify Teams dashboard shows the live status of all bonded connections across the entire MSP client portfolio - primary wired Ethernet, 4G/5G cellular, and Starlink - updated continuously. When a link at a client site starts degrading, the MSP sees it on the dashboard before the client raises a ticket.
For clients using Starlink as a primary or backup connection, Speedify integrates directly with the dish telemetry. Obstruction events, signal degradation, thermal throttling, and hardware faults appear on the Speedify dashboard within 15 seconds of detection, reported independently per dish. MSP engineers can identify which specific link is degrading at which site without visiting it.
The RESTful API surfaces the same link health and throughput data into existing RMM platforms, so MSPs can build alerting and reporting workflows around Speedify link status alongside other monitored client infrastructure.
