CES 2016 Wrap-up (Part 1)

For the last seven days, our team has been on the ground in Las Vegas for the commercial launch of Speedify Mobile at CES 2016. We chose the mother of all tech trade shows to launch our new app for obvious reasons. CES is where the tech world’s eyes turn each and every January to check out the latest innovation from big companies and small startups alike. After spending much of 2015 in early access beta, where over 100,000 users from around the world signed up to help test our awesome new channel bonding app on iOS and Android, we were anxious to make a splash with the launch of Speedify Mobile at CES.

After countless hours of CES planning, dealing with logistics, shipping and travel arrangements, not to mention all the myriad tasks that go along with launching a new product into the Android and iOS app stores, we’re happy to report that the Speedify Mobile launch at #CES2016 was nothing short of a success!

In the coming days, we’ll be giving you an inside look into the craziness of launching at CES, as well as highlighting some of the great coverage that Speedify Mobile received along the way. For starters, let’s take a look at our CES booth in action.

Over the course of the week, our team used this booth as our ground zero for demoing Speedify Mobile on iOS and Android for thousands of CES attendees from all over the globe. We got to show off exactly why Speedify makes your phone just work better: giving iPhone and Android users fast, unbreakable connectivity at the click-of-a-button.

It didn’t take long for word to spread on the exhibition floor either. In no time, we were giving live demos for tech blogs, radio interviews and more. Here’s a quick snap of CEO, Alex Gizis getting ready for one of the scores of on-camera appearances he gave over the course of #CES2016.

While things on the ground started to heat up, our phones were lighting up too. Blog posts and tweets about Speedify Mobile began hitting the presses faster than ever before. Folks like Huffington Post Tech offered some prescient insights into how Speedify’s seamless failover between Internet connections will become an integral part of ensuring connectivity in our connected homes.

We were also stoked by the sheer amount of international press at CES this year. We have to give a special shout-out to Spanish language site, Actualidad iPhone, whose coverage of Speedify Mobile contributed an impressive amount of traffic to our first week app store downloads.

Finally we’d be remiss to not mention the good folks at Technically Philly, who did a round-up of all the great Philly tech companies with a presence at #CES2016, and were kind enough to include an awesome pic of our team in action.
