All Connections Active: Use Both Wi-Fi and Wired Ethernet at Once on Your Windows PC

Do you have access to both wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi on your PC? Are these connections from different networks (e.g. Ethernet from your home / office router and a public Wi-Fi nearby)? Then, you’re extremely lucky – you can benefit from a super-connection by combining Wi-Fi and Ethernet together at the same time.

All you need is a channel bonding (or link aggregation) software app like Speedify. Read below to see how easy it is to combine Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet on your Windows computer using Speedify fast bonding VPN.

THIS POST BROUGHT TO YOU BY SPEEDIFY

Don’t compromise on speed when seeking security.

Whether at home, work, or on-the-go, Speedify is the only VPN that makes your online experiences faster, more reliable and more secure.

3 Steps to Combine Wi-Fi and Ethernet at the Same Time on Your PC

Step 1:Connect your Ethernet cable to your PC and plug the other end into your modem or router. In most cases, you will connect to the Internet automatically. If it doesn’t work, see some troubleshooting options here.

Step 2: Connect to a Wi-Fi network using the internal Wi-Fi network adapter or an external USB Wi-Fi adapter. See more about how to make sure you have a Wi-Fi card installed in this article.
The network you’re connecting to can be your home Wi-Fi network, a work network, or even a public network. Keep in mind, Wi-Fi and Ethernet networks that are connected to the same router cannot be combined for increased bandwidth using channel bonding applications like Speedify, because they both share the same upstream network. This means that your Ethernet connection must be different than your Wi-Fi connection.

Click on the computer or Wi-Fi symbol in the lower right corner of the taskbar (systray). If you’re not already connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, turn on Wi-Fi by clicking on the tile in the lower side of the pop-up menu and select your preferred network. Keep in mind, private networks may require you to enter a password before connecting.

How Does Speedify Work?

Speedify is powered by a revolutionary technology known as Channel Bonding. This allows you to use multiple Internet connections simultaneously for their combined speed and reliability. Everything including uploads, downloads, web browsing, gaming and streaming video can be improved by Speedify.

Step 3: Start Speedify on your PC and combine the wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections on your PC. When you launch Speedify, the software automatically detects the two connections. You will see them each contained in a Connection Bubble near the top of the Dashboard.
