Our hometown of Philadelphia is an exciting place to be these days. Sure, we’ve always been known for our famous Philly cheesesteaks, sports teams, and seemingly endless historical landmarks. But, the Philly tech scene is growing in leaps and bounds too.
With Speedify, your internet stays on when one connection fails.
Just a few years ago, it would’ve been hard to imagine a weeknight tech event in Center City being attended by hundreds of tech entrepreneurs, engineers, PR folks, and others. But, this Wednesday, March 18, 2015, we’ve been invited to demo Speedify at the Philly New Tech Meetup, and there are already 300 RSVPs for the event! As co-founder of Speedify, I’m excited to demonstrate our awesome channel bonding service, but I’m also eager to explain how Speedify is growing by leaps and bounds, just like our fair city.
We love being based in Center City Philadelphia. The amazing restaurants, affordable living, and even our kids’ schools make Philly a perfectly livable city. I know so many folks that have worked tirelessly to help transform so many aspects of this town, and it’s great to see the Philly New Tech Meetup folks really helping to grow the tech scene here in Philadelphia.
Of course, we aren’t Silicon Valley just yet, but having 300+ people come out on a Wednesday night to hear what new tech is happening here in Philadelphia is pretty darn cool.
