Speedify, the enterprise software layer that bonds satellite, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and ethernet into one resilient network.

BREAKING

As SpaceX files for a mid-2026 IPO targeting a $2 trillion valuation, satellite has become the backbone of enterprise connectivity. Speedify's packet-level channel bonding turns Starlink, Viasat, OneWeb, cellular, and Wi-Fi into a single unbreakable network for the businesses that depend on it.

01 · What is Speedify

Speedify bonds every internet connection you have into one.

Speedify uses a technology called channel bonding to split individual data packets across every available connection at the same time: satellite (Starlink, Viasat, OneWeb, Iridium), 4G and 5G cellular from any carrier, Wi-Fi, and wired Ethernet. Every session draws from the combined bandwidth of all bonded links at once.

This is fundamentally different from other connection aggregation techniques like load balancing, which assigns each session to a single connection. With Speedify, a video call uses every link simultaneously. If any link drops, the call does not.

Where Speedify shows up. On laptops and phones, Speedify is installed as software. In enterprise deployments, it runs at the network edge on a Speedify-powered router so every device benefits without per-device setup. The same bonding engine ships through the Speedify SDK and Powered by Speedify partnerships with router OEMs and connectivity providers.

Speedify has been running in production since 2014 across more than 15 million downloads and 82 global server locations, with over 500TB of bonded traffic per week.

Deep Dive · Watch

How Speedify's channel bonding technology actually works.

Walk through the protocol, the per-packet distribution model, the failover logic, and the encryption layer in one detailed explainer. The architecture and the engineering tradeoffs that make Speedify different from a load-balancer or a regular VPN.

The revenue angle for satellite providers.

Speedify directly expands average revenue per-user (ARPU) in the highest-margin enterprise segments for every satellite provider in the market - Starlink, Viasat, Leo, OneWeb, Iridium, and others.

Maritime

$250/mo

Per dish. Bonded deployments commonly run two or more dishes per vessel, doubling provider revenue per site.

AVIATION

~$300K/yr

ARPU per aircraft. Bonded Aero terminals plus existing Ku/Ka/ATG protect inflight Wi-Fi from handoff events.

Maritime

2×+ ARPU

Mining, oil & gas, defense, and construction routinely deploy multiple dishes plus cellular for mission-critical uptime.
Single-provider satellite is fast, but it is still a single point of failure. Bonded with cellular and Wi-Fi, satellite becomes enterprise-grade primary connectivity, the unlock that turns experimentation into multi-year contracts.

Reuters · Recent Coverage

Two dozen U.S. Navy autonomous surface vessels went offline for nearly an hour during a global Starlink gateway failure, illustrating the operational risk of single-provider satellite dependency without a cellular backup layer.

CEO Statement

On the satellite enterprise opportunity:

Satellite has made enterprise-grade internet connectivity available anywhere on Earth. Starlink, Viasat, and OneWeb have all earned the role they are now playing. But any single connection, however fast, is still a single point of failure.

Maritime, aviation, and remote operations customers see satellite handoffs, gateway outages, and weather attenuation every week, or in some cases every minute.

Because Speedify bonds satellite with 5G, 4G, and Wi-Fi at the packet level, failover is invisible and bandwidth adds up across every connection. Many of our enterprise customers run at least two dishes, because extra connections are essential, and Speedify makes them work as one.

QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE

What Speedify Does
Packet-level channel bonding. Speedify splits individual data packets simultaneously across multiple internet connections (satellite from Starlink, Viasat, OneWeb, or Iridium; 5G and 4G LTE cellular from any carrier; Wi-Fi; and wired Ethernet) and routes them through a single encrypted tunnel. Every session draws from the combined bandwidth of all bonded connections at once. Fundamentally different from router load balancing, which assigns sessions to single connections.
The Satellite Differentiator
Speedify is the only software that bonds multiple satellite dishes at the packet level, or that bonds satellite with 5G, 4G, and Wi-Fi. Two bonded satellite dishes deliver double the throughput on every active session at the same time, with invisible failover when either dish drops or enters a handoff. Adding 5G or 4G cellular creates redundancy across independent network infrastructure.
Company
Speedify is developed by Connectify Inc. Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. CEO: Alex Gizis. Founded 2014. Available on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and OpenWrt.
Enterprise Products
Speedify Teams · centralized dashboard, multi-user management, satellite telemetry alerts, and connection health monitoring across all bonded link types.
Speedify for Routers · network-level bonding of satellite, 5G, 4G, and Wi-Fi.
Speedify SDK · embeds the same bonding engine into partner apps and hardware.
The Revenue Angle
Speedify enterprise customers run two or more satellite dishes per deployment, paying their satellite provider twice the monthly subscription. Maritime at $250/mo per dish. Aviation at ~$300K ARPU per aircraft annually. Speedify directly expands ARPU in the highest-margin enterprise segments for every satellite provider it supports.
Technical Performance
Up to 95% of the combined throughput of all bonded connections. Failover time under 300 milliseconds. Zero session resets on failover. Satellite handoffs (every ~15 seconds on LEO constellations) are invisible when two dishes are bonded. Cellular and Wi-Fi connections are added and removed dynamically as availability changes.
Enterprise Verticals
Maritime (offshore, commercial vessels, superyachts), Aviation (commercial, charter, business jets), Remote Operations (mining, oil & gas, construction, government field ops), and Broadcast & Media (live production, IRL streaming).
