How to Download COD Warzone Updates Faster

Updating: 24 Hours Remaining -.-

Call of Duty Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale game released on March 10, 2020. The game released just as countries started closing their borders and businesses due to the pandemic. Could that be the reason why Warzone became so popular? Perhaps...But, there is no denying that it's a great game. That said, I have one HUGE problem with it - the update size - the updates are over 20 GB most of the time! With my connection it takes over 24 hours to download the thing and if you're not in the US, the download speed is limited on the first day. 🙁

In this article we'll show you how to kill two birds with one stone - change your location to the US one so you could get faster download on the first day and how you can improve your overall connection speed in order to download updates even faster!

Why are Warzone Updates so BIG?

Infinity Ward is doing a great job of keeping Warzon up to date and fresh. Unlike many battle royale titles we have already forgotten, the developers of Warzone keep the game interesting by constantly introducing new feature, game mechanic. Verdansk, which is currently the only map, evolves and changes with each new season. All of these perks however come at a cost - the update files are 20+ GB. Depending on your connection, it can take quite a while to download the update. However, if you are outside the US and want to update on the first day the new update comes out, good luck! The download speed seams to be limited to 1Mbps for all regions but the US on the initial day of release.

I suppose all of that is fine, the developers probably have their reasons for limiting the download speed on the first day of releasing the new update. But that doesn't change the fact that the updates are simply too big and it can still take you days to download them.

Ok, enough complaining - here's how you can download the Warzone updates faster!

Bond Two or More Connections Into One

Speedify is a bonding VPN. As a VPN, it allows you to connect to a server in the US and change your IP address to a US one. This way your download speed won't be limited on the first day of release. But more importantly, Speedify allows you to bond multiple different connections into one. If you have unlimited data on your phone, you can tether it to your computer over USB and bond your home internet with the cellular data. Or, if you have nice neighbors and they allow you to connect to their WiFi, you can bond WiFi with your Ethernet connection. This will give you close to the combined speed of both, making everything you do online faster!

Two connections are better than one and you can download those 20+ GB updates in half the time or less then if you were to only use one connection.
Moreover, Speedify has failover protection - if one of your connections disconnects, your download won't stop, Speedify will seamlessly switch you over to using just the other available connection until the firs one is back. Once the "original" connection is available, Speedify continues to bond it. This feature is very useful if you are a streamer as well - it keeps your streams live no matter what plus it can increase your stream quality with the potential boost in upload speed.

But that's not all...

Speedify Bonding VPN - Speed and Security

And that’s not all, Speedify also encrypts your connection so you can be secure while enjoying faster speeds on a stable connection. What more do you need from the Internet?

What if you don’t have multiple connections available? Speedify can still fix your network-related issues by minimizing internet packet loss.

You can download and try Speedify for free so give it a shot!
