Unbreakable VPN Connection to Unblock Restricted Games Online: Combine Starlink, Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, and DSL with Speedify
To get Tetris unblocked on a school or office network, you need a connection the network cannot read. Most tools that get around a network block cost you speed in exchange, but that trade is not required. Speedify is an app that encrypts your internet traffic and sends it through a Speedify server, and does that over Wi-Fi, 4G/5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink and satellite internet connections at once rather than just one.
For a puzzle game like Tetris the result is simple: the page opens on a filtered school or office network, and the game stays responsive. Plenty of students and office workers find Tetris blocked, so you are not the only one. Coming up: the steps, why Tetris gets caught by network filters, and how Speedify keeps the game playable. Respect the network rules where you are.
Speedify reaches what the network blocks, at full speed
Get Tetris Unblocked at School or Work in Five Steps
- Download Speedify on the phone or computer you use at school or work (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux).
- Open Speedify and create a free account (the free tier includes 5 GB per month), or sign in.
- On a phone, tap Allow when your phone asks to add a VPN configuration.
- Speedify connects to a Speedify server automatically. The school or office network now sees only an encrypted connection to that server, not the apps and sites you open.
- Open your Tetris site or app and play as usual.
Why Schools and Offices Block Tetris
Tetris is a simple game that plenty of people still play, yet on some networks Tetris cannot be reached at all.
Why would someone block such a game? Blocks usually happen on restricted networks such as school and office networks. To save bandwidth, network admins often block access to online games as a whole category. Tetris uses little bandwidth, but it still falls under the blocked content category.
The steps above can get Tetris past a school or office filter, and the same steps work to unblock Miniclip games.
How a VPN Unblocks Tetris and Other Online Games
Finding ways to get Tetris unblocked is fairly easy. If you only need somewhere to play, here’s a link to a list of sites that offer free access to Tetris online.
Tetris is not the only game site on block lists. Kongregate is another game site that school and office filters often block; here is how to get Kongregate games unblocked.
One of the most effective ways to bypass content restrictions is to use a VPN. A VPN encrypts all of your traffic and sends it through a server elsewhere, so the network you are connected to cannot see which sites and games you open. That keeps your browsing private and gets Tetris past the school or office filter.
But this security comes at a cost. Regular VPNs can make browsing the internet horribly slow, because all of your traffic takes a detour through one connection and one server. Downloads, videos and even plain browsing can stall, which is a deal breaker when you are chasing a high score.
Unblock Tetris Without Slowing Down Your Internet Using Speedify
Speedify is an app that encrypts your traffic like a VPN and can combine 2 or more Internet connections at once. Speedify is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. Once you install and run Speedify, you can get around restrictive school and work networks without slowing down your internet connection.
Speedify is much more than just a VPN. While it provides advanced encryption and data security, it can also increase your internet bandwidth.
By default your laptop, phone, or tablet only uses one internet connection at a time. When using a regular VPN, all of the encrypted data is forced through that one connection. Speedify lets your device use two or more connections simultaneously and monitors signal strength in the background. When a connection drops or slows down, Speedify moves your traffic to the other working connections.
Speedify not only helps you get around school and work place restrictions. It also helps you enjoy a smoother, more reliable internet experience wherever you are, while also securing your online privacy and keeping you safe from cyber threats.
