Listen to Music Wherever You Want. Bypass SoundCloud Restrictions.
SoundCloud is blocked at school and work for one plain reason: the network filters the address before your request leaves the building, usually to save bandwidth. Speedify is an app that encrypts your internet traffic and hands it to a Speedify server elsewhere, so the filter has no readable address to match. Twitch gets blocked the same way, and here is how to unblock Twitch anywhere.
Speedify joins Wi-Fi, 4G/5G cellular, wired Ethernet, Starlink and other internet connections at once, which keeps tracks loading quickly instead of pausing to rebuffer. Ahead: what makes networks block SoundCloud and how using Speedify gets your playlists streaming without gaps, wherever you are allowed to listen.

Why Schools Block SoundCloud and How a VPN Gets Past the Block
Schools and offices cannot shut down the internet or SoundCloud itself. What they can do is block the addresses SoundCloud uses on their Wi-Fi network, so SoundCloud stops loading for everyone connected to it.
With a VPN like Speedify, you can unblock SoundCloud. Your traffic is encrypted, so the network you connect through cannot see which sites you visit; it sees only an encrypted connection to a Speedify server. Speedify is also a VPN that combines connections, using multiple internet connections on your computer at the same time so SoundCloud gets more bandwidth.
How to Get SoundCloud Unblocked at School with Speedify
- Download Speedify on the phone or computer you use at school. Speedify runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux.
- Open Speedify and create a free account (the free tier includes 5 GB per month), or sign in.
- On a phone, tap Allow when your phone asks to add a VPN configuration.
- Speedify connects to a Speedify server automatically. The school network now sees only an encrypted connection to that server, not the apps and sites you open.
- Open SoundCloud in your browser or the SoundCloud app and listen as usual.
How Speedify Keeps SoundCloud Private and Playing at School or Work
Speedify encrypts your traffic like a VPN and combines your internet connections, so you get privacy plus the bandwidth of every connection you have, not just one. Your data also stays protected on compromised Wi-Fi networks.
Speedify’s encryption covers every connection it uses, Wi-Fi and 4G/5G cellular alike, so moving between them does not expose what you listen to.
Speedify also runs in the background, checking the quality of each internet connection. With automatic failover, if you use two or more internet connections and one of them drops or becomes unreliable, Speedify moves your SoundCloud stream to the connection that still works and goes back to using both once the weak one recovers.
