The 40th episode of Speedify Live is the last in our series of Christmas IRL streams in 2021. In past streams, we have visited the Miracle on South 13th Street, the Philadelphia City Hall Christmas Market and Augustine’s Winter Wonderland.

This time, we collaborate with PECO Connect to announce the winner of their Holiday Madness light show contest, tour the winning display with its owner and learn a bit more about them.

Here are our 5 takeaways from our last IRL stream of 2021:

1. The winner of the 2021 Holiday Madness lights contest is Augustine’s Winter Wonderland, a Holiday display we’ve visited in a past IRL stream. They’re located in 104 Park Avenue, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and open from Thanksgiving weekend until New Year’s Eve, from 5-9pm.
2. After some successful IRL Livestreams, our setup is unchanged! We’re bonding two cellular connections on an iPhone 12 Pro in Speedify, stabilizing the device on a DJI Osmo stabilizer, and using two Rode Wireless microphones. The stream itself goes through Larix Broadcaster, as well as Restream Studio via RTMP link to a variety of livestreaming platforms.
3. Our guide, and owner of the Christmas Display, Alexis tells us that it can take about 2 months, approximately 300 hours to put every decoration up, so they had to expand their team from just immediate family to friends as well.
4. This Winter Wonderland is not just for show! They work with various charities and organizations each year to give back to the community. Last year it was the HEADstrong Foundation, while this year it’s the Aston Township Fire Department.
5. Augustine’s is moving to a new, bigger and better location in 2022! Make sure to visit them once they move to Aston, where they’ll have both a front and back yard to set up Holiday lights in. They might even do a Halloween display in the future.
