Why VoIP Drops: Jitter, Packet Loss, and ISP Micro-Outages
VoIP calls fall apart for reasons a basic speed test never shows. Jitter, the variation in how long packets take to arrive, turns smooth audio into stutters even when average bandwidth looks fine. Packet loss forces a call to skip or garble syllables outright.
