Speedify – Is It Really Good for Getting More Stable Internet?
These last 3 months from the previous reviews wrap-up episode have seen a great increase in public customer feedback for Speedify. This was sent over social media – Twitter, Facebook and Reddit mostly. Speedify also got new reviews from top authority websites. Let’s take a look at some of those below.
New Speedify Reviews and Mentions
Tom’s Guide recently named Speedify as the fastest VPN service:
“Hands down, the fastest VPN service we’ve evaluated is Speedify, which uses its proprietary software to tie two or more internet connections together. While every other VPN service slows down your connection, Speedify makes it faster.”
The Wall Street Journal also did an article on sticky WiFi. This happens when your phone or computer doesn’t let go of a bad WiFi connection even though it has better alternatives. Speedify was mentioned here as well as a viable solution:
“Since integrated software fixes don’t seem to go far enough, some developers have experimented with a slightly more nuclear option. A startup called Connectify built a service, Speedify, that tests—sometimes multiple times a second—whether a device’s connection to an existing or just-joined Wi-Fi network actually works. If it doesn’t, the service switches to the cellular connection.”
Using @speedify helps failover more gracefully, but I hate how badly phones handle connections as you walk out of Wi-Fi range. Ugh. Wi-Fi is usually slower than cellular too, so I’ve almost reached the point of leaving it disabled always.

MakeUseOf did a very interesting article on channel bonding. They explain what channel bonding is, how it’s different from load balancing and how it can be achieved. Speedify is the channel bonding software – the great benefit being that you don’t need any additional bonding hardware. It does everything right on your device.
In terms of notable new reviews, VPNPro released their review of Speedify: “A speed-boosting service and VPN in one, Speedify is what you need if you’re looking for a super fast and super secure connection.”

Fix Unstable WiFi and Get More Speed – Combine Connections with Speedify
We’ve all been through this – experiencing unstable WiFi signal on trains, buses and even at hotels. Get rid of this nuisance! Use Speedify to combine WiFi with another connection (WiFi, cellular, Ethernet) for stable Internet. You don’t even have to toss WiFi into that – just bond the connections you have access to!
Being able to combine hotel wifi and usb tethering from my phone is the best, hate when hotel wifi is unstable. Thanks @speedify

How Does Speedify Work?
Speedify makes your internet secure, stable, and fast with the magic of Channel Bonding--but how?
- First, Speedify establishes a connection to one of our Speed Servers in the Cloud. This acts as a middleman between you and the rest of the internet, keeping your web activity private and secure.
- Next, the app works with the Speed Server to intelligently spread network packets among all your available internet connections.
- And presto! Speedify is able to provide the combined speed and stability of all your internet connections—unlike any other VPN on the market.
Speedify Works to Reduce Latency for Online Gaming
Speedify’s extensive speed server list helps online gamers connect to servers near major gaming hubs. This, along with its Redundant Mode, gets you a minimum latency when compared to other VPN service providers.
“If you are having issues when starting the game (I am from Croatia and have Optima Telekom as ISP), specifically the error ”connection timeout please check your network status”, I found if I use Speedify I can start the game without issues compared to other VPNs – tried Tunnelbear (no effect) and SoftEther VPN (high latency, basically unplayable). I can now play normally.” See the whole discussion on Reddit here.
Well I guess I'm either getting throttled or there's something up with @CoxComm 's routing, because a VPN makes streaming on Twitch possible again where its unusable without it. I'll throw some money @speedify 's way while I figure out what the hell is going on. pic.twitter.com/n39OjEEQc5— gold (@goldenhorizon_) October 22, 2018
Download and try speedify- it's like those gamer vpns.. It'll raise your ping but depending upon how much it raises your ping by it might be worth. For me it gets rid of all packet loss but adds 20-40 ping😅— C9 Keeoh (@keeoh) December 21, 2018
worth a shot😌
The Speedify – Connectify Hotspot Duo Fixes Strict NAT Type Issues when Gaming Online
Getting a strict NAT type is a gamer’s worst nightmare. It limits the ability to host or join certain games. Luckily, Connectify Hotspot’s gaming mode together with Speedify can fix that (see Reddit discussion here). The necessary ports will be forwarded by Connectify Hotspot virtual router software. In case there are any port restrictions, going through Speedify fast bonding VPN will eliminate those blockers.
This actually works. Especially if you’re like me, trying to use a ATT Hotspot which are notorious for Nat D https://t.co/uvWVmiuKUs
