How Speedify Combines Starlink with Other Internet Connections with No Hardware at Either End
Speedify sends your internet traffic over every internet connection you have at the same time: Wi-Fi, 4G/5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink and satellite. Speedify’s servers around the world put the pieces back together, so a single file transfer or video stream gets nearly the full speed of all your internet connections combined. If one internet connection drops, Speedify moves your traffic to the others automatically.
Speedify needs at least two internet connections to do this. With one Starlink dish and nothing else, it can’t make downloads and uploads faster or stop dropouts.
With Viprinet, you set up and look after two Viprinet pieces, the router on site and the Hub in the data center, before your first site gets online. With Speedify, the only thing you install is the Speedify app on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS or Android, or on a supported OpenWrt router. If you want your own server at the far end, add Speedify Self-Hosted Servers, which run on the hardware or cloud you choose, or Speedify Dedicated Servers, a private server that nobody else shares.
Speedify also has tools made for Starlink. Speedify’s Starlink Control Center shows each Starlink dish’s live status, speed, ping, obstructions, uptime and alerts, for several Starlink dishes at once. Speedify’s cellular sharing lets people on the same Wi-Fi pair their phones and add each phone’s 4G/5G cellular as one more internet connection.
